STATEMENT OF POLICY:
Under ordinatry circumstatnces RHEP students are not to be reimbursed for travel between RHEP provided housing and RHEP activities. Exeptions to this policy can be made at the discretion of the Site Coordintor under the following guidelines:
· If under special circumstances students are required to travel a distance exceeding 25 miles round trip for a clinical, community service, research or other RHEP activity, the Site Coordinator may at his/her discretion reimburse the student for the mileage in excess of 25 miles.
·T he consortium will reimburse a student at the current lead agency rate for reimbursement of mileage.
· There may be circumstances in which the students may be asked to travel to state-wide RHEP meetings, conferences or other personal development activities and these circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Students will be asked to use their own judgement when driving during inclement weather conditions. Attendance at the interdisciplinary sessions during times of inclement weather will be based on the school systems of the counties that the site coordinator represents.
