April reviewed the agenda for the day and reminded site coordinators that displays should remain up until 5 PM.
April reported that she and Hilda had been in Charleston for meetings with the Legislative committees. The LOCEA meeting went very well. There was a good audit from the Government Organizations Committee and on a motion that committee moved the RHI legislation on to the full house with a recommendation that we be granted a three year reauthorization. The House bill number is HB4069. April recognized Dalena's efforts with her representatives and Senator Bowman in particular.
April reminded everyone that she needs Nominations for the annual awards to be given in February. Anna volunteered to serve on the selection committee. She also said that Hilda was on leave to be with her mother who is very ill.
April Site Coordinator Seminar - Elizabeth reported briefly on the retreat set for April 5-7 at the Mill Creek Cabins in Fayette County. She reported that it should be less than $200 per person for lodging and food. Complete details will be available in February.
